Over at A Few of My Favorite Things, Jess got me thinkin'. I've actually been thinking of this for quite a while but haven't gotten out shopping. If you haven't noticed from my WIWW posts (you'll really notice tomorrow) I tend to only wear jeans from Old Navy. Not because they are my absolute favorite but because they affordable and they aren't too long for me. (I'm only 5'3"). If I decide after a while that I don't want them anymore, I don't feel bad because the most I've spent is maybe $20! But lately, I've been crushing on some super cute but super expensive jeans. Here they are: (they can all be found on zappos.com)
But I'm not willing to pay over $150 for a pair of jeans. So, my question is this: Do you have a favorite pair of jeans that are cute but won't break the bank? I need help. For the most part, I shop online as the nearest shopping center is 1.5 hours away. I know, its just not fair. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer!!!
That second pair looks really cute! I don't ever spend more than $20 usually too...once in a while it will get up to $30 but hardly ever. If you don't mind wearing used clothing, you can find brand names that way and they are always under $10. Plus they are worn in so you know exactly how they are going to fit after washing and stretching.
ReplyDeleteI bought some at Vanity..they are called the "TYLER"...I LOVE THEM...they have some great deals online. And Rue 21 have cute pairs also..
ReplyDeleteHey Morgan. I think you would look fab in that first pair or Joe's Jeans. I actually own a pair, and the denim is so, so soft. I could sleep in them! And, JJ come in petite sizes, perfect for us shorties. :) PLUS you can score some good deals at Nordstrom Rack http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/nordstrom-rack (sale site for Nordstrom's). It's not too common for the designers to go on sale, but every once in a while you can score big. That's when I stock up.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for new jeans too. I asked a bunch a friends for their favorite recommendations. When you get the chance, go to the store and try on those $$$ jeans. Write down or make a mental note of what size, brand, and style you liked and fit best. Then go home and scour ebay. Just an idea. Good luck.
