Why Is It So Hard...

...to find a good mascara? I know this isn't a deep post or a Christmas post, but its something that has been on my mind. While applying my makeup this afternoon (yes, I didn't do my hair or makeup until just now, 2:00pm), I found myself kinda frustrated. I've tried many different types. Most dry out too quickly. Some are way to liquidy. And most irritating of all...the ones that run. You know...when it looks like you slept with your makeup on or even tried to do a smoky eye but failed miserably? Ugh. So, my question for you all is, what is the best kind of mascara you have found? I'm not picky, don't care much what brand it is...I just want one that works good...ALL THE TIME! HELP LADIES!
Will be back with a more meaningful post soon. I just had to get that off my chest! THANKS!

  2. I LOVE Maybelline Full 'N Soft Waterproof. It is a little liquidy for the first week or so of use (which I combat by only putting the wand in the tube once to apply mascara to upper and lower lashes on both eyes) but after that it is perfect for several weeks/months. I probably only buy mascara two or three times a year! Plus it really is soft once it dries.
I'm super cheap and have switched to other cheaper mascaras to try and save a few bucks but always end up hating them and going back to the Full 'N Soft. I think I'll cry if they ever quit making it.

  3. I'm a big fan of CoverGirl Volume Blast (the orange one). I've used it for several years now. I use the regular kind right now because I got it on sale. I like the waterproof one a little more, though, but it smells a little weird.

  4. Couldn't agree with you more, Morgan! Why does it have to be so hard to find the perfect mascara?

I'm currently loving Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express and Maybelline Falsies. Both give great volume, not too clumpy, and really enhance my naturally long eyelashes.
