Happy Valentine's Day, all!
While my husband and I don't really celebrate this holiday all that much, I still thought I'd spread the love and host a lil' giveaway for my readers! Enter the giveaway below and you could win a $25 merchandise credit to The Scarlet Poppe fabric shop or The Scarlet Poppe Boutique! You choose!
THREE ways to enter: 1. Leave me a comment telling me how you celebrate the day with your "sweetie". If you don't have a sweetie, tell me a favorite VDay memory! 2. Blog, facebook and/or tweet about this giveaway. Come back and leave me the link in the comments! 3. Become a follower of TSP blog and facebook page. If you already are, sweet (okay, enough of that word) leave me a comment! That's all you have to do! Easy! Closing with a pic of my sweetheart! Love you, Mike!
Am single this year but my best Valentines Day was a few years ago. I was in hospital that day and my partner had my hospital room filled with flowers.

ReplyDeleteMy Husband and I really don't make a big deal about this day because we don't need one day out of the year to show each other how much we love one other. My favorite memory on V Day that I will never will forget is our first V Day after we got married we were apart because of the war in Iraq. I was at work when a dozen roses were delivered to me from my loving husband along with a phone call from him that evening. What a surprise!
ReplyDeleteWell we did playgroup party with the kids. Then we went to Daddy's work to suprize him with balloons and little fun gifts. Then we went out to LUNCH with the kids, because we DONT do dinner on V-day AND we like to be with our kids.

ReplyDeleteWe celebrated V-Day this year family style~We did presents in the a.m. (not much just some "sweet" treats:)and then had a family breakfast. I always try to make the whole day special so it was heart pancakes for breakfast and pb&j heart sandwiches for lunch, plus a gazzilion heart balloons flooding the house(daughter loved that suprise). We read V-day related books before nap and enjoyed delivering some special valentines to the g-rents! Happy v-day to all! My favorite "romantic" V-day was three years ago or "pre-baby" as I like to call it in Mexico. Long walk on the beach and came back to find our room was flooded with pink & red petals and even our towels were layed out on the bed in the shape of a heart flowered with petals. Love V-Day:)
