What I Wore...?

Okay, so I've been asked a few times to do a post called What I Wore. The basic idea is to show what I wore for the week in hopes to realize that I need to make more of an effort. I'm a stay at home momma to 3 kids. While I like to think that I pull myself together most days, there are those days that I forget the mascara and to put a tshirt on that isn't my husbands. I'm not scared to show my Sunday outfit as I am typically pretty dressed up for church...its the rest of the week that might be a bit scary! So, I'm going to give it a try...starting tomorrow. I'll post about it on Thursdays. My first post that shows my glamorous outfits (don't laugh...I live in a small town in northern Wisconsin!) of the week will hit your blog list next week. Excited??? A Lil' Something...

for my baby, Phin! I've been wanting to make these for Phin for a while. I love how they turned out. The pattern allows them to be reversible but I didn't have a fabric that I liked enough to go with the main fabric so they are the same on both sides. Phin seems to really like them. How about you? Summer Reading...

I try to have a good book going all through the year but there is just something about a good book in the summer! Not sure what it is...maybe its just the peace of sitting out on a blanket with the kids running around and a novel in hand and of course a big ol' glass of lemonade. I just ordered a few books but I'm not sure about them. I just can't find a good book that I can get into. In the back of my mind I know its because I was engulfed in the Twilight Saga. Now, nothing compares (I know, pathetic). This summer, it is my mission to find a book that I love just as much. So, here are the two books I just ordered. First, Eat Pray Love (who doesn't love Julia Roberts?)Second, Water For Elephants (FYI: Edward, I mean Robert Pattinson will be in the movie based on this book!)

Father's Day!

As I was sitting in church today, I felt extremely blessed. I was sitting in front of my dad, Mike who is such a great dad. He has taught me so much in life, I am still learning every day from him. My kids love him so much! My husband, Mike was sitting beside me, holding Phin. Watching the man you love, hold the babies you made together brings your love to a whole new level. Its hard to describe...just a whole new kind of love. I couldn't ask for a better daddy to my babies. I am so thankful for a man who is involved in our kids' lives and truly enjoys it. Just overwhelmed with a full heart today. Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers out there! Enjoy them! Morgan
