MODERN AFFAIR

I absolutely love the time of day when the UPS man drives up to my house. Usually around 1:47 but who's keeping track!?!? Today, he brought me a giant box filled with apricots, peaches, limes...well, those were the colors bursting out of the box. I'm so in love! Pat Bravo's new line MODERN AFFAIR is to die for! I pretty much love every color with gray but this is beyond! Here are a few samples:
Isn't it yummy? I've been walking around my house trying to figure out what project I want to make out of this fabric.
Love it? Need it? Can't live without it? Check out my shop to get yours now!

Something to hang with...

So, remember a while back, I said my husband was starting up a new business? Well, he did. And its doing great. We did a little trial run at a local craft fair and it went great! The feedback was beyond what we were expecting and the sales were excellent. He even had a local coffee shop hire him to do a bunch of custom items...WHAT!?!?!? I know, we're excited, too! So, here is just a peek at his work...Mossy Oak Design:

No. 9

Lots to be thankful for today. Today, my husband and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary! Today, I'm going to give you a quick insight on Mike-n-Morgan. Its almost like its one word. Rolls off the tongue so easily. So, with pics, here is the story (the quick version) of us: We met the summer before my junior year in high school. Crush is an understatement on my part. A little embarrassing but its true!
(Fall 2008)
Mike proposed on New Year's Eve. We were on our way out to celebrate with our friends, he pulled over (I'm thinking 'what did we forget') and started rambling and then finally told me he meant to ask me at the party but couldn't wait one more second. This is how Mike is. When he feels something, he shares it. He never holds back an "I love you" or a "Hey beautiful" if its what he is really thinking. I LOVE this about him.
(just before Mike's surprise 30th birthday party)
We were married October 6th, 2001, just months after I my high school graduation. Yes, I was just a baby. I didn't care. Anything in life worth experiencing, I wanted to experience with him right by my side. Still feel the same way, and then some!
(Halloween 2007)
We fit. We click. We get each other's odd sense of humor. He knows that I'm not a morning person. I know he needs his coffee before he can think about starting a day. We are still figuring each other out but know each other like the back of our hands. God blessed us with 3 beautiful babies: Izabelle, Logan, Phinehas
(Christmas 2009)
We've had lots of ups over the last 9 years and definitely a few downs. I'm thankful for both, even the downs as they make the ups that much better!
(Christmas 2008 and my fave pic of the two of us)
Love you, Mike! So thankful everyday that you are mine and I am yours.

Customer Love!

I absolutely love when I get photos from my customers. Whether its a photo of something I've made for them or of something they've made from the fabric I sell, I get so excited to see! Here are just a few photos I've received.
This photo is from Julia, a professional photographer. She purchased this tie for her son. How stinkin' cool is he wearing the Momma's Boy Tie? LOVE it!
Next are two photos from Katy at I'm A Ginger Monkey. I love the first chair but the loveseat below is amazing! I would have never thought to use that fabric on a piece of furniture but its T.D.F!!!!
Check out Katy's shop here. She has the cutest Christmas Doll.
Do you have any photos using the fabric you've purchased from me? Let me know if you do. I'd love to show it off for you.
